  • Overview:

    The TF-TDR4-HD from Techfury Video Systems is a rugged four-channel high-definition tactical data recorder designed for demanding aerial, ground, naval, military, defense, search and rescue, law enforcement, pilot training, mission recording, and debriefing applications. Purpose-built for environments where reliability and clarity are critical, the system records four independent HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, or SDI video streams while synchronizing video, audio, GPS, and mission data for accurate review and documentation support.

    With support for high-definition recording up to 1080p60 per channel, the TF-TDR4-HD is compatible with a wide range of SDI video sources, including FLIR, Westcam, Imperx CMOS cameras, Marshall Industries, HD block cameras, and Techfury camera systems TF-HCF-CAM and TF-GS-CAM-MIL Cameras. The recorder also supports synchronized audio through embedded audio or analog line-level inputs, giving operators a complete record of video, sound, GPS position, and operational context during playback.

  • Reliable Internal and External Recording

    The TF-TDR4-HD is engineered with a flexible media architecture that supports both secure internal storage and removable external USB media. Internal storage can be used as a protected redundant archive, while external USB drives provide convenient access for day-to-day operations and file transfer. The recorder can continue operating without external USB media, and internal media access is protected through a password-secured interface.

  • GPS, Text Overlays, and Geotagged Data

    Built-in GPS overlay capability allows operators to place key mission data directly on the video frame, including coordinates, altitude, speed, bearing, time, and date. The system also generates synchronized KML files, allowing recorded missions to be reviewed alongside location data in compatible mapping applications such as Google Earth.

  • Designed to Protect Critical Video Files

    A robust video loss prevention system helps safeguard recorded files during power or video interruptions. If an interruption occurs, the active recording is closed and saved to the available media, helping reduce the risk of corrupted or lost files. Once power or video is restored, the TF-TDR4-HD automatically resumes recording in a new file, supporting dependable capture in mission-critical environments.

  • Rugged Installation-Ready Enclosure

    The TF-TDR4-HD is housed in Techfury’s rugged modular enclosure for straightforward installation and operation across harsh operating environments. Standard BNC connectors support video input and output, while rugged MIL-SPEC 38999 Series connectors support audio, communications, GPS, and power. A locking 3-pin MIL-SPEC power connector accepts 12–36 VDC input and helps maintain secure power connectivity in high-vibration applications. Integrated J-hooks and top/bottom mounting points provide flexible installation options, with custom mounting available upon request.
