  • Overview:

    Atom One Mini is the smallest SDI camera available on the market. The Atom One features a 1/2.5” Sony IMX174 Imaging Sensor which is capable of capturing images in full HD at 1920x1080 broadcast quality. The Atom One features a robust aluminum housing measuring in at 30x30x31mm with multiple mounting options allowing for quick and easy installation and operations even in harsh environments with temperature ranges of -30° to +60° Celsius. With several S-mount lens options available, the Atom One offers a large spectrum of field of view angles from narrow to ultra-wide.

  • Image Processing Features:

    The Atom One features a wide variety of image processing attributes which come standard with the camera. Some of the many features include Defective Pixel Correction, Lens Shading Correction, White Balance / Auto White Balance, Flare Compensation, Color Matrix / Color Correction, Denoise and Detail filters, Auto Exposure, Black Level, White Level, Master Black, Color Post Processing (luminance, contrast, saturation, hue) and HDR output. 

  • Global Shutter vs Rolling Shutter:

    For those who are not familiar, “rolling shutter” is a technical term referring to the way the image sensor scans the image. If the sensor employs a rolling shutter, this means the image is scanned sequentially, from one side of the sensor (usually the top) to the other, line by line. In contrast to that, “global shutter” is the technical term referring to sensors that scan the entire area of the image simultaneously.
